Colina

This was our favorite restaurant in Lisbon!!! The food, the wine selection, and most importantly the amazing wait staff!! We ate here twice and by the end of the second meal we felt like family. The owner's knew just about everyone who walked through the door and greeted them warmly in the traditional Portuguese way. We were visiting from the States and our hotel staff recommended we try this restaurant for lunch while we waited to check in our room. Our servers were so happy and warm when we returned for our second meal. They brought us several wine choices to try when the wine we had the first day was not available on our second trip. We ended up buying three bottles of wine and they gave us a fourth. I ordered the house prepared grouper and when it arrived one of the servers stopped by our table, grabbed the olive oil and drizzled it over my fish and potatoes and said warmly "You have to it is like a real Portuguese!" It was even better with the olive oil! I wish I had taken more pictures of our meals. We also had dessert and spent several hours enjoying our meal and chatting with the staff. We can't recommend Colina highly enough. Enjoy!

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Impeccable service, authentic and delicious Portuguese dishes, excellent wine, and a wonderful dessert. The restaurant is beautifully organized, clean, and welcoming. It was a truly memorable dinner, and I would love to come back again during my stay in Lisbon.

Service was exemplary! Our wait staff were kind, helpful and funny. We felt welcome, despite not having reservations and the food was excellent. The setting and atmosphere were as good as the food! As English speaking Canadians we were spoken to in better English than our very limited Portuguese. We would highly recommend this restaurant to other traveller's.
